Description
Creamy homemade pistachio butter made with just roasted pistachios and a pinch of salt. Perfect for spreading, baking, or blending into smoothies.
Ingredients
2 cups roasted unsalted pistachios
1/4 tsp sea salt (optional)
1 tsp neutral oil (optional for smoother texture)
Instructions
1. Add pistachios to a food processor.
2. Blend until crumbly, scrape down sides.
3. Continue blending until oils release and mixture turns smooth.
4. Add salt or oil as needed for flavor and texture.
5. Transfer to airtight jar and store in refrigerator.
Notes
Roasting enhances flavor and texture.
If using raw pistachios, lightly toast at 350°F for 7–9 minutes.
